Everything you know about these global international organisations is true

Well, it depends on what you already know, because while it may be true that working for certain international organisations can come with perks like high salaries, travel opportunities, and diplomatic status, it's important to recognise that these benefits are often reserved for only a select few individuals within these organisations.
The fact is many employees of international organisations work long hours in challenging conditions, and may not receive the same level of compensation or recognition as their higher-level colleagues. So before you jump on the wagon of international organisation lifestyle, remember that, though exciting, it can be excessively draining and disruptive to your personal life – don’t ask me how I know, I know.
But if you’re the go-lucky type who just wants the thrills of being part of something bigger than yourself, “saving and serving” the world, then this life may be for you.

Reasons why you should aspire to work with international organisations

Ultimately, you’re going to make that all-important choice of weighing the potential benefits and drawbacks of working for an international organisation against whatever else (mine was to be a pilot), but there’s no doubt that realistically it is an alluring career path to pursue. Here’s 3 reason I can think of why you should aspire to this professional path:
  • International organisations offer the opportunity to work on impactful projects that can make a difference in the world.
  • Working for an international organisation often means collaborating with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures, which can broaden your perspective and help you grow personally and professionally.
  • Many international organisations offer competitive salaries and benefits packages, as well as opportunities for travel and international experience.
  • Working for an international organisation almost always places you in a position of authority in your chosen career. You become associated with being a subject expert in your field.
  • It’s fun!

Weekly Product Find

With every post, I’ll share (a) remarkable product/s I discovered that may be a game-changer in its space:
  • MILLION DOLLAR AI PAGE (AI SaaS webpage) – remember when a guy sold pixels on a blank webpage to brands looking for exposure? Well, this guy’s doing the same thing but with AI Startups and products based on their ARR size.
  • POSTALE (postale.io) - Create domain email addresses in minutes for a tiny flat fee. Better than Google’s service I heard.
