Well, it depends on what you already know, because while it may be true that working for certain international organisations can come with perks like high salaries, travel opportunities, and diplomatic status, it's important to recognise that these benefits are often reserved for only a select few individuals within these organisations.
The fact is many employees of international organisations work long hours in challenging conditions, and may not receive the same level of compensation or recognition as their higher-level colleagues. So before you jump on the wagon of international organisation lifestyle, remember that, though exciting, it can be excessively draining and disruptive to your personal life – don’t ask me how I know, I know.

Ultimately, you’re going to make that all-important choice of weighing the potential benefits and drawbacks of working for an international organisation against whatever else (mine was to be a pilot), but there’s no doubt that realistically it is an alluring career path to pursue.
